I must say that many people will be twittering about this post today…don’t be surprised if someone hijacks you out of YOUR cube…oh wait… you don’t have a cube. Glad someone finally came out with something that expresses how many of us feel about twitter. Thanks!

Twitter seems to exist at the union between “hipsters who want to appear tech-savvy” and “actually savvy geeks who want to appear hip.”
Both groups are being fooled: Twitter is neither cool nor technically impressive.
Its a fragile service built on web 1.0 technologies that implements about a tenth of a real blogging system, and even less of a messaging system.
Fortunately, Twitter has no business plan, and no way to make back the money its burning through, so it shouldn’t be around too long.
